Confirmation Orientation: Confirmation orientation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 12:30 PM at St John’s. All returning students, those in 7th grade or higher not yet confirmed, and parents should attend so you have all pertinent information. Pastor's Vacation: Pastor Tony will be on vacation September 15th through September 28th. Please contact Pastor Randy Lentz at (570) 386-3870 for any pastoral needs during that time.

Car/ Motorcycle Show: The 2nd Annual Car & Motorcycle Show will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025; rain date October 11, 2025. Please join us for a day of fun and fellowship.

Fall Bazaar: St John’s will be having their fall bazaar on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:30 PM and Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Mum Sale: St John’s will be selling mums for $8.50 each; order by Sunday September 7,2025; pick up at St John’s after church on September 21. 2025. Sign up sheets in back of church.

CROP Walk: The Carbon County CROP Walk will be held on Sunday, October 12th at 2 pm.  More information is available here!

Hoagie Sale: Spicy Italian, Italian, Ham Turkey, Roast Beef, American, Turkey or All Cheese sandwiches. Cost is $8.00 each.  Orders are due by September 6th.  Pick up will be held on September 16th from 1:30 to 7:00 PM. Basket Raffle: If you would like to donate a gift basket or gift card for the basket raffle in September, please see Karen Schleicher.

Flower & Bulletin Sponsors: You may sign up to sponsor flowers and bulletins for 2025 by either signing the charts at the top of the social hall stairs or by calling the church office at 610-377-4242. Call the office to sponsor Strength for the Day, Devotion booklets and the Cemetery flag pole. There are also openings to sponsor a memorial bowl. It is appreciated if you pay at the end of the month for your sponsorship.

 

Ladies Aid: Meetings are starting up once again!  The focus will be on the book "Bad Girls of the Bible" by Liz Curtis Higgs.  If you need a copy of the book, please contact Erica Pagotto at elpagotto@hotmail.com or 610-377-7505.
